Coming Out of His Shell
I like to think that I can hear what dogs are saying and sometimes thinking. It’s almost like Dr. Dolittle and how he can really hear the voices of animals. When we had our first dog, Chubby, I really believed that I could her communicating with me. Perhaps it was just a feeling that I got whenever I was around Chubby. The same goes with Morky. The photo below was taken when I was in my home office doing some work. Miraculously, Mork walked right in, started to sniff around and then plopped his butt down next to my chair. Now remember, Mork is a very timid and shy dog. But little by little, I am starting to see Mork come out of his shell. We are definitely making awesome progress. Just a few days ago, Morky wouldn’t dare come near me. He would be so jittery and startled by every single noise in the apartment. But, today he looked confident and more relaxed. Mork sat down, did one of those body stretches and just stared up at me. I quickly got my camera without making too much noise and started to take a few photos. Towards the end, I could hear Mork saying “Enough is enough… It is time to put that camera down and let me get some rest!” So, with that stuck in my head, I slowly placed my camera back on my desk and resumed working on my project.
